Tandem Drums was founded in California by Daniel Kushner, the designer of MONO, the world-renowned brand of gig bags and cases.
Background
With his product idea Drops™, he has once again recognized the needs of musicians and successfully implemented them thanks to the extremely successful Kickstarter campaign. The products will make many drummers happy.
Sustainability
In addition to using recycled materials and minimal packaging, Tandem Drums is committed to planting 180 trees every year and thus avoiding 4 tons of CO2 – as part of a partnership with Ecologi.
Goodbye, Gel
Gel and adhesives cause a sticky mess. They also restrict the vibration of the coat. Drums deserve better.
Hello Drops™
Drops are durable, reusable and therefore sustainable. They are attached to each standard tuning screw with a molded silicone tab. Use them for your entire kit to customize your drum sound.
Mix & Match
Drops are available in four different weights – 40g / 60g / 120g / 200g. Use lighter weights to make the drums sound fatter and heavier weights for a tighter, drier sound.
Simple assembly
Drops can be attached to the standard tuning screws. Simply press to attach, pull to remove (patented).
Active Gate design
Drops are designed to control the overtones while maintaining the natural sound of the drum. They don’t cling to the drumhead, but resonate with it.
