Scope and requirements
This statement applies to the online shop tandemdrums.eu. It is based on the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), its implementing ordinance (BFSGV) and the harmonised standard EN 301 549, which builds on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.
Compliance status
The shop is partially compliant with these requirements. It was assessed on 14 September 2026 by self-evaluation (automated testing with axe-core, keyboard testing, contrast measurement).
How the shop is built
- All functions can be operated by keyboard, and focus is visible.
- A “Skip to content” link bypasses the navigation.
- Product images have text alternatives, form fields have labels.
- Scrolling announcements can be paused; the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting is respected.
- The shop is available in several languages, and the language is marked up technically.
Known limitations
- Some text on images and videos (announcement bar, hero image) does not reach the required contrast everywhere.
- The video on the home page starts automatically.
- Some videos have no subtitles.
- Some embedded third-party elements lack a complete technical description.
