Developed for the tone
T-suede™ is a purpose-developed synthetic material. Not chosen because it was cheap, but because the damping behaviour and the durability are right.
On. Off. Done.
Moulded silicone grips hold on to the tension rods. Press on to attach, pull off to release.
Clean and repeatable
The magnetic closure folds the T-towel the same way every time. So it sounds the same the second time as the first — the difference between a tool and a tea towel.
Studio and stage
In the studio for the controlled, dry tone. On stage when the room gives back too much. Same tool, both situations.
Good to know
T-towels lower the volume by 2.6 dB on average — audibly quieter without killing the drum.
