Do Drops® and T-towels® fit my kit?
They fit all drums with standard square-head tension rods — the vast majority of kits for decades. The moulded silicone tab simply clamps over them.
Two exceptions: wood hoops and oversized vintage tension rods (round, slotted), as found on some older Sonor kits. Those do not work at the moment.
Does anything stay behind on the head?
No. Neither Drops nor T-towels are glued on. They hang from the tension rod, not from the head. No adhesive, no residue, no scraping.
Do I have to take the head off to fit them?
No. Press on with your thumb, pull upwards to release. You can do it in the middle of a set and it takes seconds.
Do they hold up under hard playing?
Yes. The clamp fit is tight enough for stage volume and still lets you move them between two songs.
What are they made of?
Drops: recycled felt, a filling of recycled steel, silicone tab. T-towels: T-suede™, a purpose-developed synthetic suede, with a magnetic closure. Both are PVC-free, animal-free and come in plastic-free packaging.
Choosing
Which Drops weight do I need?
In short: 40 g for small toms, 60 g for snare and Rack Toms, 120 g for large toms, 200 g for Floor Toms. The full answer with a table is in the buying guide.
If you are unsure: the Set of 4. After two rehearsals you will know what you really need.
T-towels in 12" or 16"?
12" for Rack Toms and small snares, 16" for snare and Floor Toms. Details in the buying guide.
Drops or T-towels — what is the difference?
Drops cut the sustain and leave the fundamental standing. T-towels go further: they lower the pitch slightly, smooth the highs and make the kit 2.6 dB quieter on average — the damped studio sound of the sixties.

How many do I need per drum?
One is enough in most cases. On large Floor Toms, or if you want it very dry, you can set two opposite each other.
Ordering and shipping
When will my order arrive?
Orders placed before 10:00 go out the same day on working days. After that: Germany 1–3 working days, EU 3–7, other countries 7–14.
What does shipping cost?
Germany €5.99, free from €55, express €9.99. EU €13.99, other countries €19.99. All the details are in the shipping information.
Do you ship from Germany?
Yes, from Remagen. Within the EU that means no customs charges — unlike importing from the US.
Do I get a tracking number?
By email, as soon as the order leaves our warehouse.
Returns
Can I send it back?
Yes, within the statutory withdrawal period. The details are in the right of withdrawal notice.
Who pays for the return?
You bear the cost of the return. If you can, include a copy of the invoice with the parcel — that speeds up the refund.
