About us

Tandem Drums Europe is the European distributor for Tandem Drums. The shop is run by B4 Distribution GmbH in Remagen on the Rhine — and every order goes out from there.

Why we exist

In California, Tandem Drums develops tools that solve an old drummer problem in a new way: how do you get a drum under control without taking its tone away? The answer was not yet more gels and tape, but Drops® — weights that work on gravity alone — and T-towels®, which make the damped studio sound of the sixties repeatable.

In the US, word spread quickly. In Europe it was long only available through import: long delivery times, customs, returns across the Atlantic. That is exactly what we are here for. We keep stock in Germany, ship from here and handle exchanges and withdrawals under German and European law.

What that means for you

  • Shipping from Germany — no customs charges within the EU, no waiting for an import
  • Orders placed before 10:00 go out the same day on working days
  • Returns to Remagen, not to California
  • Advice in German — by email, or by phone Tuesday to Thursday from 8 to 12

What the products stand for

Nothing on a Drop or a T-towel is glued to the head. Both clamp onto the tension rod with a moulded silicone tab, can be moved in the middle of a set and leave no residue. Anyone who has ever scraped gel remains off a head knows why that is an argument.

The materials: recycled felt, a filling of recycled steel, PVC-free, animal-free, plastic-free packaging. The T-towels use T-suede™, a purpose-developed synthetic suede — chosen for its damping behaviour and durability, not for its price.

The attachment is patent pending.
